I really loved the outcome of the dark brown and green Texture Fierro paste on the electric candles and jars, so I decided to try the gold. There’s also a blueish-gray that I want to try…but it has a bit of an “industrial” feel to it and I can’t really think of a use for it. Anyway, I am not a huge gold fan in general, but I thought it might be pretty with the holidays coming up. After applying it, it doesn’t really look “gold” at all…it’s more like a tan or a light brown with a bit of a shimmer. Love the way they came out!
It definitely looks more gold when set next to the dark brown.
I’m thinking I’ll probably display them in these enamel pots…doesn’t it look cute?
I kept staring at these candles I made a few weeks ago, and felt like they needed a little something extra. I added the homespun held on with a rusty safety pin. Simple, but much cuter now!
Can’t believe we are 1/3 of the way through November already….eeeeeekkkk! Time to officially break out the winter jacket, but I’m okay with that.
